my quick thoughts about Pyro Series

some quick thoughts about Pyro series user experience (I have every model from this ecosystem and many older models from Mars series):

- good design, but I prefered Mars400sPro with integrated cold shoe;
- good picture, but not a breakthru comparing to older models - there is still visible color difference (more green colour);
- real latency I measured in indoor studio at 25fps is 3 frames (120ms) at smooth mode and 4 frames (160ms) at HD mode;
- it don't replace cable connection - as picture quality is much better than needed for live streaming, adding possibility of 2-way communication to remotely contol cameras available at the cable connection (in my case - contol BMPCC4K from ATEM Mini) - that would be a gamechanger worth to upgrade older systems I use. If I have to buy another wireless set now, I choose PyroS, but the difference between older Mars models and Pyro is not big enought to upgrade. Cosmo C2 double receiver is great feature, but not enough for adding another different system to my collection.
- still waiting for a new system (or software upgrade) that will replace the cable connection, so I could unify the systems I use.
